UNINFLAMED™ is education, not medical care. The lessons, tools, emails, community and everything else on getuninflamed.com and in the UNINFLAMED™ app are for general education only. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or a prescription, and they are not a substitute for care from your own doctor.

No doctor-patient relationship

Using UNINFLAMED™, joining the membership, posting in the community or suggesting a topic for The Evidence Brief does not create a doctor-patient relationship with Amin Hedayat, MD, or anyone else. The Evidence Brief videos are general education about topics, not answers about any person's health. What's shared in the community is general education for everyone, not advice about your situation.

Talk to your own doctor first

Before you start, stop or change any medication, eating pattern, physical activity or other part of your health routine, get the OK from your own doctor who knows your health history. This matters most if you take a GLP-1 or any other medication, have diabetes, kidney, heart or liver disease, are pregnant or breastfeeding, are under 18, or have a history of an eating disorder.

Medications

UNINFLAMED™ does not prescribe, sell, dose or adjust any medication. Only your own licensed clinician can decide whether a GLP-1 or any other medication is right for you, how much to take, and when to change or stop it. Never change a medication because of something you read or watched here.

Tools and numbers

The tools give general estimates for your own knowledge. Food Scanner numbers come from photos or product databases and can be wrong. Protein ranges, trends, scores and other results are educational, not personal targets. Your own doctor or dietitian should set any goals for you.

Recipes and meal plans

Recipes, meal plans and grocery lists are general ideas and examples. They are not a diet plan, nutrition counseling or medical advice. Please clear any change to your diet with a registered dietitian or your own physician, especially if you have food allergies, kidney disease, diabetes or heart disease, or take a medicine that is affected by food. Always read food labels for allergens.

AI-assisted content

Some material on UNINFLAMED™ is created with the help of AI, including Food Scanner results, Evidence Check summaries, and some recipes and written content. We screen it carefully, but AI can make mistakes. Treat it as a starting point for questions, and check anything important with your own doctor.

Results vary

Everyone's body, history and circumstances are different. Stories and examples you see are not a promise of any result.

Emergencies

UNINFLAMED™ is not for urgent or emergency care, and we don't watch messages or the community around the clock. If you think you may be having a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number right away. If you are having thoughts of harming yourself, call or text 988 in the U.S.

Research and outside links

We share published research and links to outside sources to help you learn. Research changes over time, and we don't control or endorse outside sites.
