Privacy Policy
UNINFLAMED™ is operated by AIHealthLogix, Inc. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect when you use getuninflamed.com, the UNINFLAMED™ app, our member tools and our emails, how we use it, and the choices you have.
The short version: we collect what we need to run your membership. The notes, numbers and reflections you enter in the member tools stay on your own device. If you say yes to syncing, they're locked before they leave your device, and we don't read them. In Private mode, no one but you can open them. We don't sell your information.
1. UNINFLAMED™ is education, not medical care
UNINFLAMED™ is an educational membership. It doesn't diagnose, treat or give personal medical or diet advice, and using it doesn't create a doctor-patient relationship. We aren't a health care provider or health plan for this service, so HIPAA generally doesn't apply to it. We still treat anything health-related with care, as this policy describes.
2. What we collect
Account and membership
Your name, email address, password (stored in protected form by our platform provider), plan, purchase history, and which lessons you've opened or finished.
Payments
Payments are processed by our payment processor through Kajabi Payments. We see the last four digits and expiration date of your card, never the full number.
Community
Anything you post in the community, including comments and your profile. Other members can see it. Please share only what you're comfortable sharing, and don't post anything you'd want kept private.
Emails and the app
Whether you open our emails or click links in them, and, if you allow it, a device token so the app can send you notifications. You can turn notifications off on your device at any time.
Messages to us
What you send when you contact us.
Topic suggestions
If you suggest a topic for The Evidence Brief videos, we collect what you send through a form and use it only to choose video topics. Please don't include any health details in a suggestion.
Technical data
Our platform provider collects standard technical data, such as browser type, device type, IP address and pages visited, and uses cookies to keep you signed in. See section 8.
3. Your member tools save on your device
The Member Hub and tools, including your journal, goal, food and steps log, check-ins, weight, labs, Safety Card, baseline, trends and progress, save what you enter in your own browser or app on your own device. Nothing is sent to us unless you say yes to syncing (section 4).
Because it lives on your device, clearing your browser data or changing phones can erase it. You can download a backup file or email a copy to yourself at any time, or say yes to syncing.
4. Encrypted sync
Sync lets your tool data follow you between your phone, the app and your computer.
- What we ask. Each device asks once: "Keep your entries in step on all your devices?" with two buttons, "Yes, sync my entries" and "Keep on this device only". Nothing is sent before you tap yes. We record your answer and its time on the device, and the time of your yes with your linked account. You can change your answer anytime in My journey, Your data.
- What syncs. Your goal, plan, check-ins, food, sleep, Calm, GLP-1, strength and walking logs, labs, visit notes, kitchen plans, plants, scores, points, rhythm, badges and tool settings.
- What stays on your device. Your journal, evening reflections, gratitude and worry list stay where you wrote them unless you turn on "Sync my journal too". Progress photos never leave your device. Your screen look and text size stay with each device.
- How devices are linked. Your entries are encrypted on your device (AES-256-GCM) before they leave it. So your other devices can open them, our sync service keeps the key, encrypted with a separate secret. It gives the key only to a device that proves your email with a 6-digit code we email you. We store a one-way code made from your email, never the email itself, plus hashed device tokens and the time you said yes. Codes last 15 minutes and allow 5 tries. We do not read your entries.
- Private mode. Turn on Private mode in My journey, Your data, and we delete the key we hold and every device token. Your entries move to a new copy that only your six sync words can open. Your words never leave your devices. In Private mode, if every device and your six sync words are lost, no one, including us, can recover your synced data.
- What we receive. Encrypted entries, version numbers, change times and restore points. If you are linked, also the encrypted key, hashed device tokens and the time of your yes.
- Restore points: we keep the locked copy from the end of each of the last 14 days you used sync, so you can undo a mistake. These are encrypted the same way.
- Turning it off and deleting it: "Keep on this device only" in My journey, Your data, stops sending from that device. "Delete my synced copy" or "Delete all my data" erases the synced copy, all restore points, the key we hold and every device token right away. We keep only a small marker with no data in it, so your other devices know the copy was deleted; it's removed after about 13 months. A synced copy that isn't used for two years is deleted automatically.
- Where it's kept: on Cloudflare, Inc., our hosting provider, which processes it for us under its terms. Sign-in codes are emailed through Bird (bird.com), which receives your email address and the code, with open and click tracking turned off. We keep no request logs for this service.
5. Food Scanner and Evidence Check
Food Scanner: if you tap "Add to today's log", only the numbers (such as calories and protein) and the food's name are saved to your food log on your device, as described in section 3. The photo is never saved. When you choose to scan a photo of food, a smaller copy of the photo is sent to our service and to our AI provider, Anthropic, PBC, to estimate its nutrition. We don't store the photo or keep logs of it. Our AI provider processes it under its commercial terms, which don't allow it to use your photo to train its AI models. Please don't photograph people, faces or documents.
Evidence Check: the food name you search is sent to the U.S. National Library of Medicine's PubMed service and to our AI provider to find and summarize published research. We save the food name and its summary for up to 6 months so repeat searches are faster. That saved search isn't linked to you.
6. How we use information
- To run your membership: access, billing, lessons, the community and support.
- To send the emails and app notifications you've signed up for. You can unsubscribe at any time.
- To keep the platform secure and prevent fraud or abuse.
- To improve the program using combined, non-identifying information (for example, how many members finish a lesson).
- To meet legal obligations.
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for targeted advertising.
7. Who we share it with
Only the service providers that help us run the platform, under contracts that limit their use of it: Kajabi (website, app, email, community and payments), our payment processor, Cloudflare (hosting for the member tools and encrypted sync), Bird (emails sign-in codes for sync) and Anthropic (AI for the Food Scanner and Evidence Check). We may also share information if the law requires it, to protect someone's safety, or as part of a merger or sale of the business, in which case this policy continues to apply.
8. Cookies
Our platform provider uses cookies and similar tools to keep you signed in, remember your settings and keep the site secure. It may also use analytics cookies to help us understand, in total, how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though you may then need to sign in again. The member tools use your browser's own storage to save your data on your device, as described in section 3.
9. Consumer health data
Some state laws, such as Washington's My Health My Data Act, Nevada's SB 370 and Connecticut's consumer health data law, give extra protection to health-related information. The tool data described in sections 3 and 4 stays on your device unless you say yes to syncing, and synced data is encrypted and not read by us. Some information we do receive could still be health-related, such as the fact that you joined a program about GLP-1 medications, or what you post in the community or send us. We collect and use it only to provide the membership you asked for, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to see or delete it.
10. Your choices and rights
- Update your account details in your account settings.
- Unsubscribe from emails using the link in any email, and turn off app notifications on your device.
- Erase your tool data at any time with "Delete all my data" in the Member Hub (Your journey, then Your data). It takes effect right away. If you sync, it also deletes your synced copy, the key we hold and your device tokens, and erases your other devices the next time they open.
- Ask us to access, correct, delete or send you a copy of the personal information we hold, or to stop using it for any purpose you didn't ask for. Depending on where you live, you may have these rights by law. You can also appeal a decision we make about your request.
To make a request about your account, purchases, emails or community posts, email hello@draminhedayat.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We confirm we received it by email. We'll confirm who you are before acting, and we'll answer within the time the law requires. We won't treat you differently for using your rights.
11. How long we keep it
Account and purchase records are kept while you're a member and afterward only as long as we need them for tax, legal and accounting reasons. Community posts stay until you or we remove them. Encrypted sync copies are kept as described in section 4.
12. Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and encryption for synced tool data, with the key held separately or, in Private mode, only by you. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects you, we'll tell you as the law requires.
13. Children
UNINFLAMED™ is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think a child has given us information, contact us and we'll delete it.
14. Changes
If we make an important change, we'll post the new policy here and tell members by email before it takes effect.
